Today the 23: rd of September another shootout was carried out in Kauhajoki in Finland .
Eleven young people dead!
So what is it with the Finish youth, and the American, and the German, and Indian, and the Scottish. It there a pattern?
In India two school boys shoot the third boy that was bullying them.
In Columbine, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold showed clear signs long before the tragedy happened. Harris even wrote about it on Internet. They killed 12 students and a teacher, injured 23 and finally shot themselves. They planned it for a long time.
In Germany the attacker, Robert Steinhäuser shot 17 people, teachers and policeman and himself. He came from a middle class home and was expelled from school some month earlier because he had forged a doctor’s excuse.
In Dunblane Scotland the attacker Thomas Hamilton shoot sixteen children and one teacher and himself. I it’s believed that rumors of him being a pedophilic a rumor that ruined his business was the cause. All but one of the victims was under seven.
In Finland the 7 of November 2007 last year 8 was killed on another school in Jokela, Finland. The attacker, Pekka-Eric Auvinen also shot himself and later died from his injuries. He had prior to the attack warned of the massacre on Internet. He planned the deed for a long time.
If there is a pattern it is that some people feel misunderstood by society in general. So they decide to create justice and then in most cases finish their own life as the grand finale.
The fact that many of these massacres are related to schools must be for a reason.
The school is the first glimpse of society you have outside your family. It seems that some young ones do not like what they see.

We don’t know what the reason was for the killing in Finland today, but let us guess that it was something that had to do with revenge or lack of respect. And it started a long time ago. So the signs were probably there but nobody saw them or wanted to see.
One thing is clear. The Police in Finland made a faulty calculation when they thought that Matti Saari´s webpage Wumpscut86, his weapon license and pistol didn’t have anything to do with each other when they questioned him yesterday. So they let him go.

What has music to do with it?
Maybe nothing at all. I go to the net and Google “industrial” a kind of synth music. Wikipedia list the bands in that genre.
What is remarkable is that from that list of 40 something band playing this kind of music at least three of the bands has been listed as favorite music for people like Harris & Klebold(KMFDM), Auvinen(KMFDM, Rammstein) and Saari(Wumpscut).
So you could state that mass murders tend to like industrial rock.
Harris & Klebold: KMFDM = 12 killed
Auvinen: KMFDM, Rammstein = 8 killed
Saari: Wumpscut = 11 killed
So if your kid is listening to music from the list below he may not be a mass murderer but you can be sure that for some kids it is not healthy:

You’d better check the killer’s favourite music in prison. It will give you the correct statistics. How many murderers listened to Bach, 2Pac, ABBA?
