The only information it delivered was that the father of Piyush Mishra, one among the dead, was running a private hostel in the locality! On 26th August, the Indian Express and Mail Today mentioned the news in some detail (heading: “The bajrang bomb?” – Indian Express). There were hardly any follow up stories in TIMES OF INDIA. Stories of Omprakash alias Bunty, a gang leader who was gunned down by the police was the topic TIMES OF INDIA gave to its readers the next day. Times spent more than a page for Bunty the gang leader. On the following days, there was an extensive coverage of police cracking down the Jaipur blast mystery, ‘investigative’ stories on Shahbaz Hussain, the ‘computer savvy’ master mind (yet another forged lie) alleged to be behind the serial blasts. But a dreadful silence was kept about the origin of bombs dug out from the camp of Sangh Parivar all along. A great number of human rights activists and organizations demanded an immediate probe to investigate the explosive agenda hidden by Sangh Parivar. The statements issued and press conferences conducted in this regard were limited to single columns in the national newspapers. There was a clear and solid evidence of the Sangh Parivar’s involvement in making bombs and other explosive devices. There are many instances in which VHP and RSS were caught in trouble.

The coverage of the Sangh Parivar violence in Orissa, by the mainstream media reveals the bad character of the Indian press. After the very first day of violence, the most bastard national daily in the country, Times Of India, didn’t find it worthy enough to mention it in the front page! After 26th of August, the Times’ reader can hardly find news from Orissa, unless he dives into the inner pages. TIMES OF INDIA has written an editorial demanding to put an end to violence against Christians in Orissa. From the day next, the newspaper runs as if it had completed its duty and has better things to do! Look at the effort the Times News Network takes to endorse the VHP argument that Lakshminanda Saraswati was killed not by the Maoists but by the Christian missionaries (heading: Maoists didn’t kill VHP leader –TIMES OF INDIA 31st August). On the other hand, the Orissa violence made a clear appearance in other news papers like The Hindu, Indian Express and Hindustan Times. They have given extensive coverage to the plight of hundreds of Christians, who were forced to run. Why is it that the Sangh Parivar violence is never dealt with in the same intensity as ‘Islamic Terror’ is treated?

When Steve Forbes put himself on the front cover of Forbes magazine and speak about the capitalism as the healer of…capitalism it may appear as a little bit desperate in times like these.

But Mr. Forbes has a hands on approach to a problem that seems a mystery to most people. One of course get a little bit puzzled when prominent individuals like Alan Greenspan says “I was chocked”, a man that for ten years was by no competition the single individual whose words probably was most carefully analyzed not only in USA but in most parts of the world, between 1987 and 2006, a time during which he was Chairman of Fed in USA.

People like Alan Greenspan are not supposed to say things like “I was chocked”. They are supposed to explain what is going on and then solve the problem. But until now, no sign of anyone does that.

The advocates as well as the critics are stunningly quiet. It is quiet, which by all a standards are odd. In every tiny vacuum whatever discipline somebody use to take advantage of the situation. But no and that is the most scary part of the financial crisis. Nobody seems to have a clue of what is going on and how it is going to end. The 18^th of January this year Peter Malmqvist one of Sweden´s most respected financial analysts first warned about significantly a plus minus zero result for 2008, In beginning of the week starting with October 13^th he said “The Stock market will turn upwards 30 percent”. Four days later he changed his prognosis to 10-20 percent and since then the Swedish Stock Market has slumped by almost thirteen percent to minus 48,8 this year.

Malmqvist is in good company. Despite all computerized charts and loads of statistics nobody can tell were this is going to end and now is the time to take action in order to get any kind of advantage on the market.

In my view it is not only the financial markets that are under siege, it is the entire world economy as we know it.

I read that the IAEA conference of 145 states indirectly criticized Israel for their refusal to put their atomic program under international control.

What is it with that country? Do they belong to a superior race that can do whatever they wish and laugh in the face of the rest of the world? It is time somebody grabs their ear and twists it good while telling them that if they want to be a part of the international community they also have to contribute.

The world is very sorry and fell ashamed for what happened in Nazi Germany to the Jewish people but it does not put Israel as a state above the rest of us.

The conference shows that more and more countries are in favor of a Nuclear Free Zone in the Middle East, but that includes  the land Israel. Jimmy Carter, the former president of USA told the public in May that Israel have 150 atomic bombs. 150!

To me the Iranian president Ahmadinejad is a clown, but a dangerous one because he is right about Israel’s attitude when it comes to their atomic program.

Both Israel and Iran has the right to produce electrical power through Nuclear Power. But they have no right whatsoever to start a nuclear war or even create uncertainty that undermines stability. Some of the Israeli officials has exactly the same ignorant attitude that we see on the Iranian side.

If the nuclear scientist David Albright is right,  are the Iranians not far from having the capacity to build a bomb and they already acquired for example the Hot Isostatic presses that is used for configuration of the atomic bombs vital parts. This equipment is used for the final assembly of the nuke head. This equipment was also found in Iraq after the first Gulf war and IAEA cut the presses in pieces.

I can not see any solution of the upcoming nuclear treat, a treat that is not only limited to Israel and Iran, it will go far beyond that. But it is naïve to believe that the international community could success with double standards one more time.

I think it’s time to rethink on a number of fields. Why should Ivory Coast be transparent when this emerging financial crisis could start without anybody saying very much?

I have been thinking a lot these days.

Could be, but Iraq and especially these part are like the Wild West. They are border towns with Iran. It means opportunities, smuggling, and business. They were subjects for Saddam’s Arabisation campaign during the 80: ies. Meaning that Kurds where forced to move to Iran or in other directions inside the country. The power balance between tribes has been destroyed or changed dramatically after 2003. The central power that should be Baghdad has been weak. The respect for Police, Officials et c has been low. And finally there is money to make.

I remember the Mayor. He lived in Germany for many years. An intelligent and witty Kurd with a good portion of sarcastic humor.

In the Erbil province you have to have permission to build a house. It is not only in Erbil that rule is a formula A1. I think it’s like that all over the world. I mean you can not build a house were you like.

So the Mayor told some people that they could not start without permission. But they belonged to a family that regarded itself as standing above the law. One day the Mayor sent three bulldozers and destroyed their houses. He told another person that had the same idea that he wanted to talk with him about his plans. So when speaking to that man at his office suddenly twenty armed friends to that man turned up and “released” the villager.

At another occasion when the Mayor wanted to talk to some scatters that was occupying an area. They started shooting at him. He still has a scar at the side of his head.

So it is very hard to know if they facts really are facts or just dreams. People lie because they want fantastic things to happen and they seldom do.

This is why you always hear about all those projects in Iraq. As a westerner you always have to remind yourself that we have corruption and assholes in Europe to.

The thing is we can afford corruption in Europe. It is not acceptable and must be fought but it will not violate the entire society. But in Iraq it’s another story. They can not afford corruption because their entire society is built on corruption, embezzlement and lawless behavior. Normally you would be upset if the police shout an elected politician. But you never know what is behind the story. This is how far it went.

I saw an Iraqi politician, female, A MOP  on television asked about the development in Iraq. It was in connection with the channel running Corbins documentary at Swedish television. I suppose she was not with Al-Maliki because she had two messages. First that all in the government were thieves and criminals and the Americans did not do enough. Please, I am one hundred percent with John McCain that there were mistakes made, fundamental ones. I saw them with my own eyes and I think they were partly intentional. But in Iraq there’s an attitude that somebody else should do this or that. The Americans, Allah or a new strong man or there are even those that wish for Saddam to came back from the dead.

Why doesn’t the Iraqis put them selves together and build a country that they could be proud of for a change.

Skip that “somebody must” bullshit!

Somebody is the Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians and the Turcomans in Iraq.

That’s a loving mother. One rifle also had an advanced optical aim. She was not retarded or suffered from mental illness. She tried to help him.  As a normal loving mothers does for a son in trouble. The weapons in the cache were numerous but most of them were harmless air guns. Three was not harmless.

The authorities found out about the problems with Dillon before anything happened. Pekka-Eric Auvinen that carried out a School shootout last year in Jokela could have used a website that belonged to Dillon and Saari was probably in contact with Matti Saari that carried out another shootout the 23:rd of September 2008. Dillon is now serving time at a juvenile correction facility.

Are they alone? No they are not alone. They may be dismissed, loved but bullied, from white trash neighborhoods or from nice middle class homes. But they all share something. They don’t fit in. And moreover they do not exactly fancy what it takes to fit in a society like ours. Should we reflect on that or not. Fuck them!

It seems that we are gearing up for something that is out of control like Al-Qaida but on our own school yards. Suddenly the neighbor boys that help you with the garbage turn up on CNN with ten of his mates shoot dead.  

The Finnish authorities did not want to rise the age that you can buy a weapon from 15 to 18. It was a proposal from EU. They turned it down  despite what happened last year but have now changed their minds.

Let me be very clear. If you really want a lethal weapon you will get it, maybe from your parent’s home or as in Dillon’s case from his understanding mother.

I don’t like Michael Moore. Not at all. You get what you deserve. His methods are disputable. There is a golden rule in journalism that I always try to stick to – The Truth Principle. You can write or publish anything as long as it’s true.

But I have no doubt, no hesitation when I state the following. NO JUVENILE need a half automatic pistol like Sig Sauer or Walther. There is an upload with these, Glock etc.

In Kurdistan, Iraq or Afghanistan, yes. I even recommended my wife to buy those extra, for her body guards Kalashnikov, the round magazine that able you to fire 70 bullets in a straight row. But in Columbine, Jokela or in Kauhajoki? For sure NO!

Finland has a tradition to be prepared for anything. Today we are talking about hunting as in Sweden. Hunting, yes for food but not for pleasure. Some people in Scandinavia hunt Moose, Bear or Dear for the food. So bee it. But don’t mix things. What Moose’s do you hunt with a P22 like Mr Matti Saari used or a Sig Sauer like his role model Mr Auvinen used. NONE. This weaponry belongs at shooting clubs, locked in and protected by strict regulations. You don’t need that kind of weapons at home in Europe and most certainly not in USA either.

Everybody knows that you don’t kill 31 people because you listen to Wumpscut ALONE. This is not my point. I have listen to a number of bands in question and if you listen to the music and the texts you can for sure get inspired if you are not stable otherwise. Don’t listen to people saying that nothing matters. When I grove up in the sixties and the seventies we listened to Black Sabbath, Uriah Heap, smoked hash and got stoned. Some took LSD, some heroin, some died, and some fucked up, like Charles Manson. Manson has made 16 albums and a couple of singles. One of the songs has been recorded by the Beach Boys.

Obama daughter listens to rap but dad is skeptical:

“I am troubled sometimes by the misogyny and materialism of a lot of rap lyrics,” he said, “but I think the genius of the art form has shifted the culture and helped to desegregate music.”

He said the hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and the rappers Jay-Z and Ludacris were “great talents and great businessmen”.

Most Dylan songs are from “Blood on the Tracks”:s album. This Obama guy really knows how to use the velvet.

And John McCain? He took a bullet for ABBA recently in an interview with CNN.

“If there is anything I am lacking in, I’ve got to tell you, it is taste in music and art and other great things in life,” McCain joked. “I’ve got to say that a lot of my taste in music stopped about the time I impacted a surface-to-air missile with my own airplane and never caught up again.”

But McCain quickly defended his musical taste, citing the Swedish band’s longevity and crossover success on Broadway.
